I met Jacqui at Track Day Club and couldn’t not photograph her to tell her story. Wife to experienced racer, her nimble Mitsubishi FTO owned the track as she clipped in and got serious on her corners. I loved seeing her back in the pits getting advice from her husband with her daughters in situ in full support and clearly proud of their mum. 

 

Heleana is a force of nature. The founder of In Venus Veritas and The Petrolette, and a co-founder of Rising Sun Workshop. Heleana shares her love of vintage cars, riding motorcycles, and (not-so-secretly) dreams of flying planes and piloting a riva aquariva (a la Sophia Loren) very fast through the canals of Venice. Supportive and connected, community is her lifeblood, and she is as real as they come.

MARIA: The Doll

From the new-babe-on-the-block to the driving force behind The Throttle Dolls in what she hopes will help inspire other women to ride and live their lives to the fullest, we learn about Maria's love for riding as heavily influenced growing up surrounded by people who rode motorcycles, her mum included.

VICKY: The Conquest

Vicky and her machines are inseparable, they are one and the same. They are everything she is, energetic, fast, ready for anything and not to be messed with. She finds the yin in her perpetual motion yang when she can push her bikes to 120% to find that moment when time slows down and she is nowhere else.

I believe women have the ability to be powerful whilst also nurturing in a way that offers a unique way to lead. Yvette embodies this in a way that is infectious. As the co-founder of Track Day Club, Yvette has created a club that is like her, warm and inviting whilst offering the need to drive very fast... like really fast!

PETROLETTES Vol 2. 2015/2016

If 2015 was the year of the Petrolette motorcyclist, 2016 we’ll be searching for more drivers and pilots! TRACK DAY CLUB: Wakefield Park, Sydney

Founded in 2012, Track Day Club offers the chance for any drivers to test their wheels, set personal bests and let out their need for speed in what is a family friendly, safe and super fun event. IVV got the chance to participate last winter at Wakefield park and was blown away literally (as it was seriously windy) and figuratively by the approachable, well organized family run event.
