ROAD STYLE: Nina

A thrifty Doll, fashionista Nina is renowned for her ability to hunt out a stylish bargain, whether online or at a charity shop. Nina makes the vintage look her own by customizing the items she finds, as is seen here with her folded down boots. Her helmet is an open faced Bell and she is riding a Yamaha SR400.

Custom Yamaha XJR1300 by RB Racing

When Harley Borkowski from RB Racing asked me to photograph his custom Yamaha XJR1300…  I couldn’t say no. Harley is a well-respected builder, racer and mechanic in Sydney. He is one of the few professionals I know who sits comfortably in between the custom culture scene and the hi-performance sports bike scene and his take on the XJR is performance based, aesthetically purposeful and discreet.

ROAD STYLE: Hannah

Every time I see Hannah out and about I'm always impressed by her co-ordinated and striking silhouette while on her Yamaha SR400 (which she can kick start, first go, every time). Few have the patience and commitment to find beautiful gear that doesn't turn its back on safety, but Hannah has in a way that it totally unique to her.

CARINA: Steadfast

Riding a motorbike was always something Carina wanted to do, however in Germany it is an expensive undertaking. Since calling Sydney home, Carina decided to finally take matters in her own hands, much like many of the major decisions she’s made in life, she doesn’t really over-think it. If it sparks her interest, she goes for it.
