ROAD STYLE: Kinga

Adventurous in life as well as in fashion, Kinga shows us her street style, a departure from her off-road gear as seen in the Petrolette feature. Kinga’s look here oozes rockstar, with her leather look Sass & Bide jeans and perfectly worn in boots being nicely set off by the star features on her Icon Kitty Leather riding jacket (bought on ebay for AUD50!). Her glove (BMW Rallye 2), helmet and motorcyle all from BMW and commonly seen on GS riders.

Her BMW GS 800 looks right at home on the streets of Bondi as it does in the Aussie outback!

I do most of my riding off-road; not hardcore motocross, but I certainly do enjoy a nice dirt road, a bit of sand and the occasional creek. So the majority of the time I’m in super-safe gear, head to toe. It’s a bit heavy and not great for walking around but safety first (my motto is ATGATT … All The Gear All The Time).

Around the city, I tend to give a little more priority to comfort and coolness, but temperature and style ;)  … but doesn’t mean I don’t choose approved safety gear, just not the heavy duty stuff.

The Icon jacket I’m wearing is a good example: you can wear it with some nice pants and rock up to a café without looking like an astronaut, which is always nice. And I got it for a cool $50 from eBay, a hell of a bargain, which is ALWAYS nice!
